About TPP
ThePoolPack.com is a project I’ve been wanting to do for a couple of years. As a long time forum enthusiast and news reader on what’s going on in the world of pool, I’ve often thought there was a missing niche.
Reading the news sites didn’t keep me up to date with all the interesting things going on in the world of pool, and searching through the forums meant I often spent hours, albeit mostly enjoyable hours, reading through a lot of threads and a lot of chit chat before getting to the meat and potatoes.
So this site hopes to collate the best of the interesting information that is floating around and put it in one place so fellow enthusiasts can find the meat and potatoes they’re looking for in less time, and have that information presented to them in an easy to read way.
This would be a lot of work to do on my own, hence I’ve adopted a community blog, whereby a dozen or so respected contributors and web savvy google-fu black belts assist me in collating the information. Perhaps the biggest upside of this is that our contributors (The Packers) can provide some entertaining and insightful commentary on the various goings on in the pool world.
